Detroit, MI.- 16 teams earned the opportunity to advance to the semifinals after Tuesday night's quarterfinal games. March Madness was the term many coaches used after finding out about scores or were there in person to see favorites fall and clutch baskets that advanced teams to the next playoff round. Isn't this why we watch the games? Here's a look at each of Michigan's four classes and the semifinalists.

Any persons picking the four semifinalists in Class A are more than welcome to write for Inside Prep Sports. Kalamazoo Central has been the favorite to return to the Breslin as they brought back a solid nucleus from last year's runner up team. The other three, Ann Arbor Huron, Detroit Denby, and Southfield are rolling and have the talent and coaching to hold a trophy high on Friday around 6pm.

Friday-1pm-Huron (22-4) vs. Southfield (20-5)

Friday-2:50pm-Kzoo Central (25-1) vs. Denby (16-9)

I.P.S.' Final Prediction: Huron vs. Kzoo Central

One could say that Class B has three predictable semifinalists in Detroit Country Day, Lansing Sexton, and Muskegon Heights with Richland Gull Lake as a dark horse but well deserved of their accomplishments.

The Heights defeated Sexton in December.

Melvindale Academy of Business & Technology is the favorite in Class C as they bring back the core of a team that forfeited the championship trophy a year ago. Flint Beecher is a team that has made this trip frequently over the past few years and Suttons Bay has a premier player with the ability to put his team on his shoulders. Bridgman is the dark horse for this title despite their 22-4 record.

Thursday-1pm-Beecher (18-7) vs. ABT (21-2)

Thursday-2:50pm-Suttons Bay (24-1) vs. Bridgman (22-4)

I.P.S. Final Prediction: A.B.T. vs. Suttons Bay

Muskegon Western Michigan Christian's trophy case is well on to the way to expansion as they are the favorite in Class D. Covert is their first obstacle while the winner of a couple twenty win teams in Marine City Cardinal Moody and Eben Junction Superior Central will stand in the way of M.W.M.C.'s third consecutive championship.

Thursday-6pm-M.W.M.C. (24-2) vs. Covert (20-6)

Thursday-7:50pm-Cardinal Moody (21-5) vs. E.J.S.C. (23-3)
